Put on your Santa hat and get into the Christmas spirit on Friday 7 December from 5pm to 9pm at Windsor Mall’s Light Up Windsor, a free community event packed with roving entertainment, special guests (including Santa!), market stalls and performances!

The Master of Ceremonies will be popular TV host, journalist and actor Candice Dixon. The Mayor of Hawkesbury, Councillor Barry Calvert will also launch the Mayoral Christmas Appeal at the event in support of Hawkesbury Salvation Army. Free parking will be available at Governor Phillip Park.

Free activities will include:

  • face painting
  • craft activities – make your own Christmas decoration
  • Live performance and meet and greet by Children’s Group ‘Jitterbugs’ at 6pm
  • Live school and community group performances
  • Over 30 market stalls – buy your Christmas gifts
  • Windsor’s local restaurant, pubs, eateries and shops will be open
  • Roving entertainment from 6pm
  • Post your letter to Santa at the North Pole Post box
  • Meet Santa and his merry helpers.

Hawkesbury Regional Museum will open on the night from 5pm-8pm, with a library pop up for kids to have fun reading Christmas themed stories. Children and their families will also have the chance to make a Christmas decoration, play some super-sized games and receive a free book. A comfy reading corner will be available for those who want a quiet space away from all the hustle and bustle.
