To celebrate Local Government Week, Hawkesbury City Council will be once again be hosting ‘Hawkesbury Fest’ down at Governor Phillip Park in Windsor on Sunday 21 July from 10am – 3pm.

This is a free community event, come down with your family and friends and enjoy a jam-packed day of interactive activities, entertainment and fun for the family!

Activities on the day will include:

  • Free rides (jumping castle, giant slide and more)
  • Free face painting
  • Roving entertainment (hula hoop and juggling)
  • Free interactive activities
  • Free hula hoop and juggling workshops
  • The Hawkesbury Visitor Information Centre will be there. They can provide you with local information, maps, books, heritage walks, things to do and a whole lot more.
  • Hawkesbury Community Nursery – giving away native plants and providing you with all you need to know about our native plants.
  • Hawkesbury Companion Animal Shelter – promoting pets for adoption
  • Food trucks and a community BBQ
  • Market stalls
  • Local community groups/services stalls
  • Free giveaways including show bags filled with goodies.
