Sunset Sessions in Hornsby Mall.  Every Friday night in February. 5.30pm to 8.30pm.

Sunset Sessions returns in 2020 with another series of free live music and selection of food, drinks and tropical tastes, sights and sounds. Some favourite artists will be returning to Lolo the Caravan stage, with plenty of new performers here to farewell summer with some funky acoustic vibes.

Valentines Day RNB Traffic Light Party at the Bella Vista Hotel. Friday 14 February. Bella Vista Hotel. From 8pm.

You’ll be given wristbands on arrival and you choose the colour which best represents your love life.

FREE entry before 8.30pm. DJ playing all your favourite RNB hits from 8pm til close. Private booth and lounges available.

 

$1 oysters at Castle Hill RSL. 13 – 16 Feb.

Castle Hill RSL is celebrating Valentine’s Day with $1 oysters, available in the Courtyard Resturaunt Thursday 13 February – Sunday 16 February!  Perfectly paired with a blushing mimosa for $10 or a glass of sparkling.

 

Carp fish out at Lake Woodcroft. Saturday 15 February. 7am to 10am.

You are invited to attend the Lake Woodcroft Carp Fish-Out a free fishing event to help reduce the number of carp which are degrading Lake Woodcraft. Carp are an introduced fish which have many negative environmental impacts on our waterways such as reduced water quality and river bank damage.

Bring along your rod, tackle and bait, worms, or corn kernels to this fun event.

All participants are required to have a recreational fishing licence/ permit from NSW Department of Primary Industries.  For further information on the requirements, exemptions and fees

This family friendly event is free to attend for Blacktown residents. Booking is essential and places are limited.

Nurragingy Miniature Railway. Sunday 16 February. 10am to 3pm.

Head along and enjoy Sydney’s newest miniature railway! Train rides are $3 each with passengers under 3 years of age requiring a paying adult over 18 years of age to accompany them.

Please ensure all passengers MUST wear fully enclosed shoes.
