  • The Farm at Lynwood Country Club. Open every Thursday from 10am – 1pm, Saturday 11am – 2pm  and Sunday 11am – 2pm. Bring the kids along to see rabbits, birds and sheep! They’ll be entertained by the animal feedings and learn about life on the farm.

  • Don’t miss the first ever Blacktown International Sand Sculpting Exhibition from 13 – 28 January at Blacktown Showgrounds featuring an Alice in Wonderland theme. Tickets are now on sale and you can even attend the pre-event opening from 10-12 January and see the sculptors at work. More than 250 tonnes of sand will be trucked to the Blacktown Showground site in boxes in early January and a group of 10 international and Australian artists will then start shaping this sand into large-scale, intricate sculptures.     • Bella Vista Farm – The massive all-day Australia Day party will include show-stopping performances from Aussie artists, rides, free kid’s activities, delicious street food, roving performers, fireworks and much more. (12pm – 9pm). More info here.
    • Annangrove Park – Australia Day celebration for the family. Rides are free for the children – a train, flying chairs, ponies, minions, a Barbie Princess, giant slide ……… and stalls, good old Aussie sausage sizzle, coffee for the adults. 10am to 2pm.
      A short ceremony kicks off our day at 11am, but everything will be waiting for you at 10am, so come and enjoy your day with the whole family, bring a picnic blanket and enjoy this beautiful tree lined suburb or ours.
    • Parramatta Park –  Celebrate everything that makes this nation great at Parramatta’s massive all-day Australia Day party.  Features include the spectacular Aerial hot air balloon display (6am), the Big Barbecue – the biggest barbecue Parramatta has ever seen, the popular Carnivale vintage car display, plenty of kids’ activities, workshops and amusement rides plus the main stage concert at The Crescent followed by a massive fireworks finale.
