Sunday 13 September. Castle Hill Showground. 10am to 4pm.
Enjoy a free, family-friendly day out while ensuring your loved ones know what to do in an emergency and which services to call.
Emergency Expo brings together first responders, emergency personnel, and the community to promote safety awareness and build positive relationships with the services that protect us every day.
- Get up close with real emergency equipment and take part in interactive demonstrations
- A packed day of activities for all ages — learning about safety has never been more enjoyable
- Watch real-time displays of emergency techniques and responses in the dedicated demonstration arena
- Explore career and volunteering opportunities with emergency services and help build a safer community
- Children 16 & under can enter the Stamp Rally for a chance to win one of 10 prize packs
Getting There
Parking:
- Free parking for Metro travellers (see park&ride website for conditions).
- Free parking available within the showground precinct.
- Please follow directions and do not block any gates to help ensure emergency vehicles have unrestricted access.
Public Transport:
- Catch the Metro train and get off at Hills Showground station. Walk 2min to the expo.
- Local bus stops are:
- Doran Drive opp Hills Showground Station (Stop ID 2154398 & 2154399),
- Showground Road at Gilbert Rd (Stop ID 215416),
- Showground Road after Carrington Rd (Stop ID 215427).
