Highforest Football Fever

Football Fever is coming to Highforest these school holidays.

With the excitement of the Football World Cup in full swing, we’re inviting local families to get involved in a fun and active 2-hr community soccer event at George Thornton Reserve.

This special event is delivered in partnership with MSFC, an academy founded in 2014 by former Socceroo and international football player Mile Sterjovski, bringing high quality coaching and a passion for the game to every session. We’re proud to host the event at the home of our local club, Redbacks FC in West Pennant Hills.

Across the session, kids will take part in:
– skill based drills including dribbling, passing and shooting
– small sided games and friendly matches
– team challenges and World Cup inspired activities
– fun, inclusive coaching suited to all experience levels

This is not a drop off activity. Our aim is not only to build football skills, but to bring the community together. Parents and carers are encouraged to stay, connect and enjoy the atmosphere while the kids take part.

Whether your child already plays or is trying football for the first time, this is a great chance to build confidence, meet others in the community and enjoy some school holiday fun outdoors.

This event is open to Highforest residents, the local community and nearby schools.
