The Gables Lake Foreshore Free Opening Event

The Gables Lake Foreshore is officially opening! 🎉

Stockland is celebrating the opening of the new lakeside precinct with a free community event for local families on Sunday 19 July from 10am to 2pm.

The new foreshore features five playgrounds, a basketball half-court, boardwalks, picnic areas, accessible pathways and open green space – giving families a new spot to play, walk, picnic and spend time outdoors.

On the day, there’ll be live music, kids’ activities, arts and crafts, face painting and basketball competitions, plus plenty of space to explore the new foreshore and playgrounds.

Bring the kids, pack a picnic, and don’t forget scooters, bikes or a basketball if you’d like to make the most of the new pathways and half-court.

Parking is available along nearby streets and in the town centre car park.
