On Boxing Day 2023, 9-year-old George broke his arm while at home in Moree NSW. It may have saved his life.
While treating George’s broken arm, tests showed that George had leukaemia. His family including three younger siblings, have stayed at Ronald McDonald House in Westmead ever since.
George’s family is one of more than 1,600 Ronald McDonald House supports in Westmead each year and community support helps make this critical service possible.
Every person who donates to Ronald McDonald House’s Christmas Appeal via this link before Friday 13 December will go into the draw to be one of 10 people to visit the House on Monday 23 December from 10am for morning tea and craft with families.
Each of the 10 winners can bring 3 people with them for this special Christmas morning tea. It’s an opportunity to not only make a direct impact for families with sick and injured kids supported locally in Westmead, but also to bring your kids to the House at Christmas and demonstrate community support in action.
The 10 winners will be drawn on Monday December 16th 2024 at 10am and contacted later that day.
