This great park caters for all ages, from crawlers to primary school aged kids. Bernie Mullane has climbing equipment, slippery dips, swings (including a wheelchair accessible one), a grassed area to run around (unshaded) and a small footpath for scooters. The play equipment is covered by a shade but there are no shaded areas to sit on a rug. Outside the fenced playground is a walkway around the sports complex where there’s a smaller playground. And if you are a mum who loves a coffee and a little something for morning or afternoon tea, this is all available in the nearby gym.
This fabulous playground was extended in 2017 and now includes a water play area and an all abilities playground. Read more here.
