The Hills District currently lacks preparatory programs for children who do not plan to attend a private primary school. To address this gap, Prep For School - Hills District is a privately operated school readiness program designed to support children regardless of their future school choice.

Currently based in Kenthurst.
• Specialises in school readiness for preschool-aged children.
• Offers small-group sessions with a maximum of 8 children per session.
• Designed to foster:
• Confidence
• Independence
• A love of learning

Session Details
• Each child attends a two-hour session at least once per week.
• Follows the NSW schooling terms.
• Session times available:
Morning: 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Afternoon: 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

It is important to note that Prep For School is NOT a childcare or long day care
service. Our sessions are intentionally short and highly focused. Unlike daycare,
which offers full-day supervision and routine-based care, we provide structured,
goal-oriented learning experiences that specifically target school readiness. Our
aim is not to replace existing care arrangements, but to complement themproviding
children with an intensive, educationally rich experience that prepares
them for the structure and expectations of Kindergarten.
