Fagan Park covers an area of about 55 hectares on Arcadia Road at Galston. It’s an amazing park with huge amounts of space and areas to explore. There are two car parks, one off Arcadia Rd at the main park entrance, and another off Carrs Rd. Parking costs $5 per vehicle. There are two playgrounds at opposite ends of the park. One is better for older children (Arcadia Road Entrance) – it has a large climbing frame, a flying fox, a liberty swing and play equipment. Although for the youngsters there is a sand play area with some water – perfect for muddy puddles! There’s an additional park at the Carrs Road entrance which has been refurbished and opened in September 2018. Picnic shelters and electric BBQs are scattered throughout the grounds.
