ROLE: Senior Bookkeeper – Part Time
Goodwin Chivas & Co, located in Norwest Business Park, is a firm of dedicated professionals who provide a complete range of services including accounting & business, taxation, audit and self managed superannuation funds and bookkeeping services to individuals and businesses. This role involves direct client interaction, including onsite visits, to provide hands-on support and ensure precise, efficient bookkeeping. If you’re detail oriented, proactive and passionate about delivering exceptional client service, we’d love to meet you. The position will start at 24 hours per week and can increase if workload is available and if it suits the candidate. You will be required to work on client/s site and in our office in Norwest, with onsite parking available.
What You’ll Do:
- Managing bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Working directly with clients to answer questions, resolve issues and provide excellent service.
- Reviewing entries and ensuring accurate, timely results.
- Monitor and manage lodgement deadlines, ensuring all submissions are accurate and filed on time.
- Guide and support team members, offering training when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping with leadership skills
- Proficiency with accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, Hubdoc, and more.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
