Looking for a warm, supportive space where you can connect with other parents and carers? MyTime Playgroup in Baulkham Hills is here for you! This free, inclusive playgroup is a welcoming environment for parents and carers of young children with disabilities, developmental delay or chronic medical conditions, to share experiences and take a break while their children enjoy engaging in play-based activities.
Playgroup details:
- When: Fridays during school terms. 9.30am – 11.30am
- Where: Gooden Drive Reserve Meeting Room, Gooden Drive, Baulkham Hills.
- Cost: Free!
Who is STaR? STaR (Special Teaching and Research) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the inclusion and participation of children with disability in their communities. STaR works across early years, school-aged and post-school settings to ensure progressive, meaningful and inclusive learning for people with disabilities. STaR does this through Special Education.
What is MyTime? MyTime is a national program providing a supportive space for parents and carers of children with disabilities or medical needs. It’s a unique opportunity to connect with others on a similar journey, exchange ideas, and learn about local resources.
What to expect: This parent-led playgroup offers flexibility and choice, with a trained MyTime facilitator available to guide discussions and an Early Childhood Teacher to keep children engaged in play-based activities. while you enjoy some well-deserved time to connect with other parents.
