Light Up Windsor is back, and Hawkesbury’s elves have been hard at work bringing to life a reimagined Christmas Street Fair to be held on Saturday 28 November from 5pm – 9pm.
Light Up Windsor will stretch throughout George Street from Windsor Mall to the Deerubbin Centre and will include Christmas installations, free
craft activities, face painting, live and roving entertainment, plus so much more.
Following feedback from visitors and shopkeepers, George Street from Fitzgerald Street to New Street will be closed to accommodate our burgeoning Christmas markets. By spreading out the crowds, Light Up Windsor will be the most accessible it has ever been by allowing more space for visitors to shop at their leisure.
The Family Fun Zone in the Mall will include free Christmas activities as well as the popular Reindeer passports and stops, lights and the festive snow zone while George St will come alive with over 50 market stalls to help kick start your Christmas shopping and to compliment the restaurants in Windsor, there will be a variety of food stalls.
Santa is even coming all the way from the North Pole with Mrs Claus and one of his Reindeer to meet fair goers, spread Christmas cheer and to take any last-minute Christmas gift requests. To book your meet and greet with Santa, Mrs Claus and their Reindeer click here.
All money raised from the Reindeer bookings will go towards the 2026 Mayoral Christmas Appeal. You will find Santa, Mrs Claus and their Reindeer at the Deerubbin Centre.
Other major highlights will be the entertainment on the main stage at Fitzgerald Street and the traditional lighting of the giant Christmas tree in the Mall at 9pm.
