Kellyville Kolts Soccer is seeking an experienced and motivated Canteen Supervisor to join our team at Bernie Mullane. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the canteen operations during games and events, ensuring the highest level of customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The role is a paid position and we expect the successful candidate to work Friday afternoons from 5pm to 9pm, every Saturday from 8am to 5pm and alternate Sundays from 8am to 3pm. The rate of pay will be negotiated and is subject to experience. We would prefer to engage a person who has some association with the Kellyville Kolts as a player or relative of a player but this is not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Food preparation, customer service, and cash handling procedures.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Arrange for delivery and coordinate for the restocking process.
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with local Council regulations.
  • Monitor and manage the flow of customers, orders, and transactions to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment, utensils, and food storage areas.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards and experience with inventory management.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings during soccer season.
  • Passion for sports and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in food handling, safety, or hospitality are preferred.
  • Association with the Kellyville Kolts as a player, parent, relative or other role.
