Powerhouse Materials is a new series exploring the Powerhouse Collection through the lens of a guest curator and a chosen material.
PROGRAM FOR THE DAY:
Andy Griffiths Talk – 10am and 1pm Followed by a meet-and-greet and book signing. Write a personal note to Andy and post it via the Treehouse post box.
Curators Talk – 11.30am and 1.30pm Highlights from the Powerhouse Collection.
BTS Collections Storage Tour – 12.30pm and 2.30pm A behind the scenes look at the Powerhouse paper collection and the Collection storage spaces where we house over 500,000 objects. Recommended for adults and children over 5 years of age.
Self-Guided Activity – 10am–3pm Pick up a free, self-guided activity book, designed in collaboration with Andy. It’s filled with creative prompts and challenges for visitors to develop their own illustrations and stories inspired by the exhibition.
