We are currently looking for passionate educators to join our boutique 50-place preschool team, including Early Childhood Teachers (Birth–12), Diploma-qualified educators, and Certificate III educators.

About Miss Parker’s Preschool

Miss Parker’s Preschool is a boutique, purpose-built 50-place early learning service for children aged 3–5 years located in Glenhaven in the Hills District.

Founded by an experienced Approved Provider and led by a team of qualified Early Childhood and Primary trained teachers, our service has been intentionally designed to support children in their transition to school through Miss Parker’s Pathway™ – our Preparation for School Program.

Our educational approach blends:

About You

As a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood / Primary trained Teacher who believes in the importance of preparing young learners for school and life, you will work collaboratively with our Leadership Team to implement our Preparation for School Program across our preschool age groups, supporting children in building the confidence and foundational skills needed for a successful transition to school.

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Birth to 12)
  • Hold current NESA Teacher Accreditation (Provisional or Proficient)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the EYLF and Early Stage 1 curriculum
  • Have experience planning and implementing intentional teaching programs
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and wellbeing practices
  • Build responsive relationships with children and families
  • Create inclusive and engaging learning environments
  • Possess strong communication and organisational skills
  • Hold a current Working With Children Check

 

Diploma

At Miss Parker’s Preschool, early childhood education is more than a role. It’s a purpose!

We are seeking a passionate, Diploma-qualified Educator with a minimum of three years’ experience in a preschool setting to join our boutique team and make a meaningful difference in children’s lives.

This is an opportunity to work within a calm, intentional learning environment where children are supported to grow into confident, capable learners. Your role will focus on preparation for school, nurturing curiosity, independence, emotional wellbeing and a strong sense of self, not rushing childhood, but honouring it.

You will be supported by two highly experienced teachers, working collaboratively alongside you to deliver thoughtful, intentional, play-rich and purpose-driven learning experiences grounded in best practice.

Certificate 

We are seeking a dedicated Certificate III Educator to join our boutique preschool team in Glenhaven. This role is ideal for an educator who takes pride in creating calm, nurturing environments, values meaningful relationships and wants to be part of a service that prioritises quality over quantity.

As a Certificate III Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s daily learning experiences. You will contribute to a warm and secure atmosphere where children feel safe to explore, develop independence and build strong foundations for school. Working alongside experienced Early Childhood Teachers and Diploma Educators, you will support intentional teaching, reflective practice and thoughtfully planned learning experiences aligned with the year before school.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in a preschool setting and understands the rhythm of the year before school
  • Builds respectful, responsive relationships with children and families
  • Demonstrates initiative, reliability and professionalism in daily practice
  • Is open to mentorship and committed to strengthening their skills
  • Contributes positively to a collaborative, high-expectation team culture
