ROLE: Nanny / Housekeeper, part time
We are currently seeking a reliable and organised part-time Nanny / Housekeeper to oversee various aspects of the home, including childcare for two children aged 11 and 13, managing basic animal duties for a small hobby farm. This position will form a job share partnership with the existing employee looking to transition into part-time.
Responsibilities include picking the children up from school, coordinating household schedules, overseeing maintenance services, meal planning, taking children to and from activities, staying on top of school-related events, handling basic tasks for our hobby farm, and caring for pets. Excellent communication and multitasking skills are essential. Also, someone who is reliable, proactive, patient, flexible and able to take initiative.
Location: Pitt Town
Working hours: 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 2pm-7pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate household activities and children’s schedules.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children. Assist children with homework/projects when needed.
- Light cleaning and tidying as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children.
- Valid driver’s license
- Non smoker
- First aid
- Current police check and WWCC (or willing to obtain one)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
