Normanhurst has a fantastic new spot for families to get outside and enjoy. The upgraded Charles Curtis Park Playground on Pine Street is now complete and looking great, with plenty of space for kids to play and for locals to relax and connect. One of the best parts? The park sits right next door to Myrtle Street Grind, making it an easy win for parents in need of a good coffee while the kids burn off some energy. Perfect for playdates, casual catch ups, or a relaxed morning outdoors.

The park features a brand new fenced playground with a soft rubber surface, a covered play tower with slides and monkey bars, and swings for all ages, including toddler and sling seats. There are also nature play steppers and fun play car rockers, plus a large picnic shelter, extra picnic tables and seating. The open grass area has been expanded and is nicely shaded by mature trees, with additional new plantings adding to the space. A basketball hoop has been installed in a more shaded area, and new concrete pathways make getting around the park easy, including links to Pine Street and Willowtree Street.

Address: Corner of Pine Street and Myrtle Street, Normanhurst.
