Talk about a Hills tradition! For over 40 years now, volunteers have been spreading joy throughout the Hills on their annual Santa Runs. This is a fabulous event that brings neighbours together and it’s the perfect way to say thanks and offer a small donation if the firies are collecting. It all starts this weekend! Here’s a summary of what’s on in the Hills. Enjoy!

Rouse Hill Santa Lolly Run
Announced to be held on Saturday 16 December. Commences at 1.15pm. It’s a big one. The run covers 7 areas.
Box Hill Nelson Brigade
From 2.30pm Saturday 16 December. A Santa tracker will be enabled closer to the date. See the route details on the Brigade’s Facebook page.
Westleigh Rural Fire Brigade Santa Run
The Westleigh RFS Annual Santa Run. Sunday 17 December from 8.30am. Last year the route commenced from Warrigal Drive, Westleigh at 8.30am and visiting Westleigh and parts of Thornleigh and Normanhurst. The route for last year can be found here. This is yet to be updated for 2023.
Dural Rural Fire Brigade Santa Run
Dural Rural Fire Brigade will be holding their Santa run on Sunday 17 December. Detailed map to come with stops Santa will be making this year on his route with the fire truck. Santa will stop at St Jude’s Terrace at 3:45pm followed by Sebastian Drive at 4pm. Santa and his elves will open Dural Fire Station from around 5pm for photos with Santa and his fire truck after his drive. Dural Fire Station is located on Quarry Road in Dural.
Galston Rural Fire Brigade
Santa’s Schedule to be released but we expect similar to 2023:
START: 4pm – commence from Galston Fire Brigade.

Hills SES Santa Run
The Hills SES are yet to release their routes for 2023 but here are the 2022 routes for reference.
Baulkham Hills – 24 December from 6pm
Kellyville – 24 December from 6pm
Castle Hill – 24 December from 6pm
Cherrybrook Rural Fire Brigade Santa Run
Usually starts at 6pm Cherrybrook RFS Station on Christmas Eve 24 December but the information is not yet available. Follow their Facebook page for updates.
Glenorie Village Santa Run
Usually starts at the top of Timaru St at 4pm on Christmas Eve, 24 December. Follow the Facebook page for more details.

Santa’s Sleigh Run, North Rocks
Santa’s Sleigh Run in North Rocks is bought to us by the Carlingford Rotary Club . They split the suburb into East and West and kick off the run at 4.30pm on Christmas Eve 24 December. Follow their Facebook page for more details.
