PHIVE, at 5 Parramatta Square, is Parramatta’s new community, cultural and civic hub, located in the heart of Parramatta’s CBD. PHIVE is a central part of the vibrant, emerging Parramatta Square precinct, with cafes, restaurants, shopping and incredible public art. And it’s a great space to explore with kids! 

Things to do:

Check out the iconic building – PHIVE is an architectural icon with a bold design. It’s a truly smart building, with sustainability credentials allowing it to be net zero carbon from day one.

Visit the library – PHIVE houses the City of Parramatta’s library on levels 1 and 2, with an extensive book collection, digital resources, dedicated Children’s space and study areas. There are also three children’s story times a week during school term. Each session commences at 10:30am and runs for 30 minutes. The schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesday – Toddler Time (18 month – 3 years)
  • Wednesday – Bibs and Books (0-2 years)
  • Friday – Preschool Storytime (3 years – 5 years)
