Spring is the perfect time to get out and about at Bella Vista Pocket Park, right next to Bella Vista Metro Station. Landcom’s free community program has something for the whole family.

Learn to Skate with Totem Skate: Free workshops for kids aged 6 years-old and over on Saturday 7 November, 9am to 12.30pm. Beginners through to experienced skaters are welcome, and helmets, boards and pads are provided. Bookings essential.

Kids dance classes with The Stage Door Performing Arts: During term time, free weekly classes for children aged 2 to 5-years-old, every Wednesday at 10am during school term, with a special themed class each month (Beach Party on 11 November). Registration essential.

Coffee Connections: A women’s wellness and support circle on the second Wednesday of each month from 10.45am, guided by a registered counsellor. Complimentary coffee and childcare are provided, and no registration is required. Coffee Connections is designed to be welcoming and accessible – some women attend after their child’s Stage Door Performing Arts dance class, while others come specifically for the session. Both options are encouraged.

Art Track Map: Prefer to explore the Park in your own time? Landcom’s free Art Track Map lets you discover the public artworks along the Metro North West Line, including the colourful Golden Hour mural at Bella Vista Pocket Park. Open it on your phone at any time, then hop on and off the Metro to see each artwork up close. Don’t forget your camera; the artworks provide the ultimate backdrop for photos.
