As we told you last week, the Sydney Hills City Slider, a 325m long water slide on Withers Road between Annangrove and Mile End Roads Rouse Hill taking up the equivalent of three city blocks, is coming to the Hills for one day only on Sunday 27 December!

Now we can tell you that tickets for the City Slider go on sale on Monday 30 November at 9am! Tickets are limited and the event is expected to sell out, so make sure you get your tickets as soon as they go on sale at thecityslider.com.au

Those interested in riding the slide must have a ticket, which costs $29+booking fee for a 90 minute session (limited early bird) or $35 + booking fee (regular tickets). There will be six sessions between 9am and 8:30pm.

The event is free to the not so adventurous spectators and for parents to watch the kids. Kids 110cm -130cm tall must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. For kids under 110cm, there is a free 25m mini slide for them so they don’t miss out. Yay!

We know it’s almost too crazy to imagine so we can’t wait to see it in action on the day! Co-founder of the City Slider Matt Elmer explains a little more:

It’s so massive and spectacular that it takes a while for people to wrap their heads around the concept. Once we show them a video, people get very excited.”We want the whole city to have a good time, we want to create a huge, family friendly street party with a 325m water slide as the centrepiece. We want the community to come out and enjoy it. Enjoy the music, enjoy the food, enjoy the slide, just come together and hang out with us.

Good luck to everyone hoping to buy tickets – it’s sure to be an awesome day!

And don’t forget the world’s largest inflatable water theme park is coming to Bella Vista Farm Park from Saturday 26 December-Tuesday 26 January.  Tickets are on sale now here.
