Ronald McDonald House Charities is looking for volunteers to help support over 2,000 families with sick and injured children each year.
Volunteers are the Heart of Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney’s (RMHC GWS) services and support for families with sick and injured children.
Services currently include a 60-room House at Westmead next to The Children’s Hospital Westmead (CHW), a Day Program for local families with a child who is a patient at CHW and Hospitality Carts on the children’s wards at Nepean and Campbelltown Hospitals. New services will be launching in coming years to meet an overwhelming demand for support.
More volunteers are needed to fill various roles. Your commitment could be as little as one shift a fortnight and available shifts include evening and weekend options.
Volunteers have provided practical and compassionate support to families with sick kids for more than forty years. To discover the joy of volunteering please visit gwsfundraising.rmhc.org.au/hdm or email [email protected]
