ROLE: Yard / Store Person
- Dural
- Full time. Monday – Friday 7am – 3.30pm
- $30 per hour – subject to negotiation for the right candidate.
We’re a family owned and operated Electrical Company with a growing team of over 15 workers. We’re looking for a Yard / Store Person to be based at our Dural Office with the requirement to maintain our Glenorie Storage space. This is a newly created role, so an opportunity for you to dive straight in and make it your own!
About the person
- Mature, independent, honest & trustworthy – you’ll often be working alone and when you don’t have any assigned tasks, have the foresight and independence to find work to do
- Don’t mind driving – you’ll be required to drive around the Sydney area picking up materials from suppliers and bringing back to either location
- Don’t mind getting dirty – you’ll be required to organise the warehouse / storage spaces at both locations.
- Take pride and ownership in your job
- Easy going attitude, who adapts quickly and easily to last minute changes
- Don’t mind taking instruction from several people and have the willingness to share ideas you may have, especially if it assists in streamlining a process
About the job
- Organising the spaces – This will be done in consultation with both our Director/Electrician and Electrical Project Manager – a system will need to be generated
- Keep a regular stocktake of both locations
- Keep both sites tidy and organised
- Arrange to take any plant for pink slips, servicing etc
- Assist with pre-building of certain materials
- Assist with ensuring materials required on-site are organised, arranged and ready to be loaded
- Receive and unload deliveries
On top of the above, there will be other adhoc duties that we’ll need your help with from time to time.
What you’ll need
- White Card
- Unrestricted manual drivers licence
- MR licence essential, HR licence would be even better
- Forklift Licence
