We are a team of local psychologists who are passionate about providing evidence based treatments for adults, children, adolescents and families within a supportive, caring and respectful partnership.

Our psychologists have a genuine interest in understanding and assisting patients with their difficulties and work collaboratively with each person to achieve practical and creative solutions and improve their overall wellbeing.

Our practice is well known in the local area for its unique approach to working with children and adolescents. Where appropriate, we engage with your child's broader community and support networks (e.g., families, schools, GP, other health professionals) to ensure better outcomes, increased resilience and long term health improvement.

The Audiology Place is an independent, family-focused hearing clinic providing expert, practical support for children and families. We see children from around 6 months of age, helping parents understand whether hearing may be affecting their child’s speech, learning, behaviour or confidence.

Hearing problems in children are not always obvious. A child might seem to hear normally at home but struggle in a noisy classroom, frequently ask for things to be repeated, turn the volume up, appear distracted, misunderstand instructions or have difficulty keeping up with conversations. Sometimes recurrent ear infections or glue ear can also cause fluctuating hearing that is easy to miss.
