Shop opening hours may get a little confusing this year. Anzac Day is on a Saturday this year – 25 April 2026. All retail shops will be required to remain closed on Anzac Day. That includes supermarkets like Woolworths and Coles and bottle shops. Some small shops and certain licensed venues may be able to open. There is also a public holiday on Monday 27 April – but retail remains open on this day. We suggest checking websites and social media platforms for details of certain businesses if you’re interested.
