Get out before the school holidays begin! The Bella Vista Hotel holds their Mexican Fiesta Long Lunch on the last weekend of every month. Held in the beautiful Bella Garden, ticket holders indulge in their Mexican Fiesta set-menu for $55 per person – featuring beef nachos, soft shell tacos (chicken, pork and condiments) – and finish with Spanish Churros with chocolate sauce! Kids pricing $30 (food only).  Add on 2 hours of Bottomless Margaritas for an extra $30 per person!! Bookings required.

West Ryde Easter Celebrations. Saturday March 27. 10am to 11.30am. 

The 2021 West Ryde Easter Celebrations will be held on Saturday 27 March 2021. Join Alice, the crazy Mad Hatter and the Easter Bunny as they take us on a magical adventure through song and dance. The concert includes dance performances and competitions with prizes to be won. Cost is $5 (plus booking fee). Tickets must be pre-purchased. Hills Adventist College Open Day. Sunday 28 March.
Visit Hills Adventist College this Sunday. Its Castle Hill Junior School (K – 4) campus open day planned for last Sunday is now on THIS Sunday, as is the Kellyville Junior School (K-4) and Early Learning Centre open days. Galston Valley Railway Open Day. Sunday 28 March. From 9.30am to 3pm.

Run by the Hornsby Model Engineers’ Co-operative, Galston Valley Railway is an amazing and unique experience, particularly if you have a train fanatic in the family! It’s a miniature railway with a main line length of about 1km running through a picturesque bush setting, with a mix of steam and diesel trains. And it’s right here in the outer Hills, although you’d never know from simply driving past! Currently, it operates the second and fourth Sundays of every month. Read more about it here.
