Hawkesbury Fest. Sunday 6 August. 10am to 3pm. Governor Phillip Park, Windsor.

Bring your family and friends to the Hawkesbury riverside to see the exciting dog agility demonstration by RuffTRACK with Farmer Dave, free amusement rides, kids’ activities, free face painting PLUS:

  • More than 20 local markets stalls
  • 12 food and beverages trucks/stalls
  • 15 community group information stalls including a local Emergency Services display
  • live music by local artists
  • roving entertainment
  • free workshops by Messy Makers – sand art and dry messy and sensory play.

Hawkesbury City Council will also present:

  • Bike N blend activity with their road safety team
  • Revolve Recycling bike repair workshop –‘check and tune’ activity
  • Fun fitness challenges with the YMCA including planking and a magnetic fish activity for the kids
  • Passport activity with their Hawkesbury Bushcare and Hawkesbury Community Nursery crew, for a chance to win free plants and plant vouchers.
  • Decorate a tree guard, dig for fossils, make stars and comets with their Arts and Culture team
  • Engage with their sustainability team with a Sustainable Stories activity.
  • Envirocom: Kids will have fun sorting and learning about waste materials, plus a short recycling quiz for adults!

OLA Family Fiesta. Sunday 6 August. 1pm to 6pm. Cnr Wellgate Ave and Withers Road Kellyville.

Rides, Entertainment, Petting Zoo and wonderful International Food will be available from 1pm and continue throughout the afternoon with a fireworks display to finish at 6pm. This is a wonderful event for all the family

 

Kenthurst Preschool Fete. Sunday 6 August. 10am to 3pm.

Head along and join the fun at the annual Kenthurst Preschool Kindergarten Fete. Pony rides, games, carnival rides, showbags, great coffee and much more!

 

Holden Display Day. Sunday 6 August. Hawkesbury Showgrounds. Gates open at 9am.

Visit Creatures of the Ice Age at Sydney Zoo. Saturday 1 July – Sunday 27 August

Get ready to chill with the coolest gang in town! Creatures of the Ice Age have emerged from their frozen hideaways and have made themselves at home at Sydney Zoo! FREE with your zoo ticket.

Follow the ice trail – grab your map and explore the zoo in search of the mighty woolly mammoth, ferocious sabre-toothed tiger, powerful polar bears and more. Go for a skate on the ice rink! Snap a pic with the larger-than-life Abominable Snowman. Check out the ride zone and craft village.

The Farm at Lynwood Country Club. Every Sunday 11am – 2pm.

Bring the kids along to Lynwood Country Club to see rabbits, goats and sheep! They’ll be entertained by the animal feedings and learn about life on the farm.
