The much-loved Orange Blossom Festival (OBF) is the largest annual event in The Hills and this year sees the return of the OBF Parade at Rouse Hill Town Centre on Saturday 21 September.
Residents, visitors and foodies alike are invited to enjoy the carnival atmosphere for a fun day out for the whole family. Witness the spectacular parade featuring floral characters, community groups, and vibrant floats before experiencing the excitement of the Bluey Show with Bingo and Bluey! Treat your kids to a day filled with face painting, potting workshops, and other engaging activities.
In addition, this year The Hills Shire Council is proud to introduce a sensory space to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all attendees, including those who are neurodivergent.

Get ready to experience the ultimate family sports extravaganza at the Blacktown City Family Sportsfest 2024 event! This event brings together the community in a day of action, entertainment and family fun. From exciting sports tournaments to interactive displays and activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Entry will be free from noon – 4 pm, allowing families to enjoy all that Sportsfest has to offer on the day. Families can take this opportunity to check out the range of facilities on offer at the Blacktown Leisure Centre in Stanhope Gardens.
