  • Easter Egg Hunt at Rouse Hill Town Centre, including Easter games and a surprise visit from the one and only Easter Bunny! Saturday 1 April and Sunday 2 April. Bookings essential.  Find out more here.
  • Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at Seven Hills Plaza. Saturday 1 April. 11am onwards.
  • Easter Minders at Rouse Hill Town Centre. Drop n Shop this Easter. Get an hour to shop with ease whilst the kids are entertained. Saturday 10 April. Find out more here.
  • Easter Egg Hunt at Stanhope Village. Thursday 6 April. 2pm to 5pm.
  • Easter at Castle Hill RSL. Free petting zoo –  Friday 7 April – 10am to 1pm. Meet the Easter Bunny – Saturday 8 April and Sunday 9 April – 11.30am to 2.30pm.
  • Easter at Lynwood Country Club. Meet the Easter Bunny – Saturday 8 April – 11.30am to 2.30pm. Free petting zoo –  Sunday 9 April – 11am to 2pm.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

Do you still need to arrange a camp, class or activity if you need to work or just need to fill in a half-day, a day or more? Here are some options in and around the Hills that may have some spots left.

 

Castle Hill RSL

  • Create your own dream catcher. Friday 14 April. 10.30am. Kids will get to choose to wrap their dream catcher with colourful wool, tape or keep it natural. Then decorate their dream catcher with a choice of crafting decorations including a pretty pleated pinwheel, a hand-crafted pom-pom, a string of beads or hand stitch a felt heart. Find out more here.
  • Kids Silent Disco Party. Monday 17 April. 10.30am. Each child will be provided with their own wireless headphones where they are able to control their own music selection and volume! Kids will enjoy a high energy dance party with epic dance moves, fun games and a glow performance, providing ultimate fun for all ages! Find out more here.

 

Inflatable Holiday Fun at The Centre Dural

These school holidays, your kids can get out some energy jumping on a wide range of inflatable rides at The Centre in Dural while you can sit back and enjoy their cafe. 2 hour sessions are available between the hours of 9am to 4pm, no prior booking required. Tickets start at $9 for kids 4 and under, and $17 for kids 5 and over, but discounts are available for multiple kids or multi day bookings. See website for details.

  • House Down Under. From 1 April visit the House Down Under; Australia’s first and only inverted house experience. Capture the most surreal photos, have a laugh, create unique poses from an inverted perspective. A unique and fun attraction not only for the kids but adults too! A great way to have a good family time and have a great upside-down experience.

Riverside Theatre

There’s plenty on these school holidays at Riverside Theatre Parramatta.

  • 360 Allstars.  Tuesday 11 April to 14 April. BMX, basketball, breakdancing, acrobatics, drumming and more, the international smash hit returns! A phenomenal physical performance exploring all forms of rotation, 360 ALLSTARSconnects the street with the elite to deliver a supercharged urban circus.   • The Story of Mr B. Tuesday 18 April and Wednesday 19 April. This surprise filled puppet show, set in a giant pop-up book, tells the story of Mr Bumblegrum. As we turn from one page to the next, this grumbling character goes on a colourful, moving journey through the seasons. Nature tries to cheer him up with tenderness and humour; trees play, the sun swirls, mushrooms laugh and snow falls. As spring arrives Mr Bumblegrum realises, he wants friendship again. Lynwood Country Club

  • Feathered Friends.  Thursday 13 April. 10.30am. Bring the kids to experience a full sensory meet and greet with feathered friends. Whether they’re flying overhead or sitting on your child’s shoulder bird ambassadors provide an unforgettable experience the kids won’t forget! Stanhope Village

Kids will be inspired to be their own Superhero with our uplifting super-powered activities. From Tuesday 11 April to Friday 14 April and then Monday 17 April to Friday 21 April. 11am to 2pm.  Enjoy a different super-hero themed activity every day:

  • Week 1: Tues 11 – Puzzle decorating. Wed 12 – Cape decorating. Thu 13 – Cupcake decorating. Fri 14 – Felt mask making.
  • Week 2: Mon 17 – Plaster painting. Tue 18 – Scratch art masks. Wed 19 – Snap bands. Thu 20 – Colour in masks. Fri 21 – Sun catchers.

Castle Mall

Feature Creatures are bringing their favourite reptiles, amphibians and bugs to Castle Mall for three days only. Visit from Tuesday 18 April to Thursday 20 April between 10am and 2pm daily and learn about these amazing creatures.

 

West Pennant Hills Sports Club

  • Lego Workshop – 12 April – from 11am to 1pm.

STORYTIME

  • FREE storytime sessions for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are held by libraries in the Hills throughout the week. Sessions are not run during the school holidays. During the school holidays there are events for primary aged kids.  For the full calendar see here.
