Hi! My name is Tracey and I love sewing and crafts! I grew up eager to try each and every craft and then worked in my dream job writing for and editing craft magazines, where I was able to live and breathe my passion everyday. After having children and enjoying sharing my love of sewing and crafts with my son and daughter, I was keen to find another creative avenue and Sew fun for kids! was born in 2015.
Sew fun for kids! provides small group sewing classes and workshops for children aged 7 and up, as well as teens and adults. Throughout our friendly classes and workshops, we learn a range of practical sewing skills, while having fun being creative and making fashionable projects to take home and be proud of.
Our weekly after school term time classes are available Monday to Thursday from 3.45pm to 5pm, and 5.15pm to 6.30pm, while our fortnightly Saturday classes are available from 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4pm. Our school holiday workshops are full day workshops that run from 9am to 3pm.
We have one sewing machine set up for each student to work at in the class or workshop, and all of the fabrics, accessories and patterns are included in the class fees.
Our new sewing studio located in the heart of Castle Hill is warm, welcoming and bright. We look forward to welcoming you to one of our classes or workshops.
My 7 and 10 year old daughters participated in one of Tracey’s School Holiday workshops. Both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Tracey and her mother were encouraging, kind and patient and my daughters were so proud of their Bunny creations. What a fantastic skill for children to learn. Both daughters are looking forward to participating in more of Tracey’s workshops. I highly recommend Tracey and her Sew Fun workshops.
