Lifeline Giant Book Fair Castle Hill. Friday 11 October, Saturday 12 October and Sunday 13 October. 9am to 5pm. Oakhill College.

The Lifeline Castle Hill Book Fair is back from 11–13 October at Oakhill College, Castle Hill, promising to be a paradise for book lovers.

More than 70,000 pre-loved books of outstanding quality, range and scope will be displayed in more than 50 categories – including Animals, Art, Architecture, Biography & Memoir, Children’s & Young Adults, Cookery, Craft, Fiction, Gardening, History, Literature, Military, Music, Old Favourites, Psychology, Science, Sci Fi, Sport, Study Guides & Textbooks, Transport and Travel.

Savour the Flavour – Hawkesbury. Saturday 12 October. Richmond Park. 4pm to 9pm.

Savour the Flavour is a colourful celebration of the Hawkesbury’s food, local produce and beverages.

Visitors and locals alike will have the chance to sample and purchase delicious food, produce and beverages from local farmers and businesses. We are also inviting primary producers that surround the Hawkesbury to get involved. Light Up Bella Vista – A Diwali Celebration. Sunday 13 October. 5pm to 8pm.

Join in Light Up Bella Vista, a vibrant celebration of Diwali, at Bella Vista Pocket Park. This event promises to bring together people from all backgrounds in a joyous evening filled with food, music, dancing, and lights.

School Holidays at Powerhouse Castle Hill 

The Powerhouse Spring School Holidays program runs from 28 September – 13 October 2024. It provides a range of in-depth workshops and free drop-in creative experiences, including popular Creative Studio, motion capture, gaming, coding, Minecraft and artist-led workshops.

Families are invited to adventure through exhibitions at Powerhouse Castle Hill to discover the stories and histories of objects on display. Powerhouse Castle Hill is open every Saturday and Sunday from 10am–4pm. Find out more here.
