      • Smurfs Workshop. Join in the Smurfy fun where you get to decorate your very own Smurfs back pack to take home and get the chance to meet Smurfette!  Monday 30 September to  Sunday 6 October. 11am – 2pm. The Food Terrace.
      • How to Train Your Dragon Workshop. Step into the magical world of How To Train Your Dragon under the dome and create your own Toothless mask. Monday 7 October to Friday 11 October. 11am – 2pm daily. The Food Terrace.
      • Yamaha Bike Ride Experience. Young ones can enjoy laps of the supervised test arena on Yamaha’s popular PW50 and TT-R50 fun bikes, or try four wheels on the YFZ50 fun ATV. All the required safety gear is provided, including boots, jersey, pants, helmet, goggles and gloves, with riding tips and encouragement provided by professional Yamaha coaches. Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 Sept, 10am – 3pm, 15min session times. Market Square (opposite Timezone). No cost to ride, register on the day *Riders must be between 5-10 years old and fit into riding gear provided.
      • Grill’d Kids Masterclass.Reserve your little ones a space at the Grill’d Burgers Masterclasses, in a 45 minute class we’ll turn your master-eater into a master maker!  Tuesday 1 October to Friday 4 Oct and Tuesday 8 October to Friday 11 October. 11am – 12pm.  $12 ticket (includes a burger, chips, drink and gift).       • Art of Vietnam Workshop with Roll’d. Bring your kids to this tasty tutorial and create everyone’s favourite healthy snack – Vietnamese Rice Paper Soldiers. Afterwards, participate in an authentic Vietnamese hat making experience. Saturday 5 October and Thursday 10 October, 11am – 12pm. Cost: FREE, all materials provided. Book in-store. Walk-ins welcome.
      • Potting and Planting Workshop. Gro Urban Oasis brings you this exciting workshop for kids, where they’ll learn essential skills and get to decorate their own pot plant to take home! Monday 9 October. Cost: $5 payable on the day, visit the Gro Urban Oasis website for bookings and session times.
      • Donut Decorating with Donut King. Purchase any regular or large kids drink during the below dates and times to receive a FREE cake donut and join in the decorating workshop to make it your own. Wednesday 2 October to Friday 4 October and Wednesday 9 October to Friday 11 October. 11am – 2pm.

    • Dino Discovery Science Workshop at Castle Hill Library. Wednesday 2 October. 10am to 11am. In this workshop children will have a roar-some time exploring dinosaurs. They will help create a dinosaur impression fossil and discover how scientists know so much about these fascinating extinct creatures. Children will also create a fizzy dinosaur egg to take home to hatch! Suitable for children in school years K-2. Cost: $25.
    • Airball Basketball Science Workshop at Castle Hill Library. Wednesday 2 October. 11.30am to 12.30pm. How many baskets can you score? Sports meet science in this creative construction workshop. Children will explore the nature of how air moves around surfaces and then construct a remarka-ball airball basketball craft to take home. Suitable for children in school years 3-6. Cost: $25.
    • Library Imagination and Creation Lab. Looking to get creative these school holidays?  Drop in to work with your child as they create their own unique piece of art work. Join us as Louise unveils her newest mystery adventure book “Grace’s Secret.” In this interactive historical fiction writing workshop young writers will discover how to blend historical research with fiction and create their own destination map complete with secret passages and time-travel portals.   • Nitro-Tactic Science Show with the Crazy Scientist. Pennant Hills Community Centre. Tuesday 8 October. 10.30am to 11.30am. A theatrical,educational and interactive science show featuring many liquid nitrogen demonstrations. Ages 5 – 12. Children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Cost: $10.
