A boyband on wheels! FREE workshop & performance for all ages. This Friday, four exceptionally talented Hip-Hop dancers perform to a series of pop hits on hoverboards at Riverside Theatres, Parramatta. The dancers glide and zoom across the space in a spectacular and fun performance, mixing dance forms, including breakdance, tutting, popping, and acrobatics. Beaumont Hills Park Opening. Friday 9 February from 4pm to 6.30pm.
Celebrate the opening of Beaumont Hills Park on Friday 9 Feb from 4pm, the latest park delivered as part of the Parks for People program. The park has been designed and built by the NSW Government to include the community’s aspirations for a fun and adventurous public open space. The colourful precinct includes a pump track, sports courts, skating area, walking and cycling tracks, and seating decorated by a local artist. The park will be officially opened by Parliamentary Secretary Stephen Bali MP with a smoking ceremony performed by Aboriginal Elder Uncle Colin. Come along to see a demonstration by skateboarding professionals, join in on skate lessons and enjoy some coffee and gelato.
The Webex TPS Series. Castle Hill Country Club. 8 – 11 February.
Castle Hill Country Club has partnered with the PGA and WPGA of Australia to host the Webex TPS Series in 2024 and 2025! This year’s tournament is being held 8 – 11 February and is a free event for all of the community to come and experience watching some of Australia’s best golfers in action. Stay for an hour or all day if you prefer! This is a free event for all spectators to attend. Food and Beverage options will be available for purchase outdoors.
Lunar New Year Parramatta. Saturday 10 February. 4pm to 10pm. Centenary Square and Parramatta Square, Parramatta.
Welcome the Year of the Dragon with delicious street food and family fun! Free entry. Bring your friends and family along to enjoy celebrations, lion dancing, delicious food and live entertainment. Snap pictures of the beautiful lantern decorations on the 10 February and look out for the giant interactive dragon installation on display from 8 – 15 February in Parramatta Square.

Chang Lai Yuan Chinese Gardens in Nurragingy Reserve will be adorned with colour as Blacktown prepare to ring in the Year of the Dragon.
Decorated in the spirit of Lunar, the celebrations will feature a range of cultural activities and entertainment between 5 pm – 9 pm and conclude with a spectacular fireworks display including Chinese fire crackers.
