Santa Runs
Talk about a Hills tradition! For over 40 years now, volunteers have been spreading joy throughout the Hills on their annual Santa Runs. This is a fabulous event that brings neighbours together and it’s the perfect way to say thanks and offer a small donation if the firies are collecting. It all starts this weekend! Here’s a summary of what’s on in the Hills. Enjoy!
- Rouse Hill Fire Brigade Santa Lolly Run – Saturday 14 December
- Westleigh Rural Fire Brigade Santa Run – Sunday 15 December
Gingerbread House Decorating at Bella Vista Hotel. Sunday 15 December at 11am and 1pm.
This one is popular, so you have to book. Bella Vista Hotel will be hosting two Gingerbread House Decorationg workshops (approx 1-1.5 hrs) where you will be shown step-by-step how to assemble a hand-cut, pre-baked mini gingerbread house, and then decorate with lollies. Book your ticket here.
Christmas activities at Tallawong Village
Over the next two weekends, Tallawong Village are celebrating Christmas.
- Saturday 14 & Saturday 21 December from 11am – 2pm. FREE Christmas Crafts, where kids can make their own magical holiday keepsakes.
- Saturday 14 December from 10am – 1pm. Let your little ones enjoy enchanting tales at the Christmas Storybook Corner.
- Saturday 14 & Saturday 21 December from 10am – 12pm. Spot Roaming Santa as he spreads holiday joy and creates perfect photo opportunities.

- Christmas Carols at North Epping. Friday 13 December. Epping Oval. From 6.30pm. Fireworks at 9pm.
- Carols in the Park at Kenthurst. Friday 13 December from 3pm to 9pm at John Benyon Rotary Park Kenthurst.
- Carols by Candlelight at Fagan Park Galston. Saturday 14 December. From 5pm.
- Carols at Hillsong. Saturday 14 December and Sunday 15 December. Shows at 4pm and 7pm (plus additional show at 1pm on Sunday). Tickets are only $10 for adults and $5 for children. Buy your tickets here.
- Baulkham Hills North Carols by Candlelight. Saturday 14 December. 5pm to 8.30pm.
- The Vineyard Christmas Carols. Sunday 15 December and Thursday 19 December. 6pm to 9pm. 725 Windsor Road, Vineyard.
- Thornleigh Community Christmas Carols. Sunday 15 December at Headon Park from 5pm to 9pm.
- Carols on the Lawn. Kellyville Anglican Church. Sunday 15 December. From 5.30pm.
Get your photo with Santa
- Castle Towers – Santa has arrived at his enchanted forest set. Bookings can be made here.
- Winston Hills Mall – You can make your booking here.
- HomeCo Castle Hill – You can make your booking here.
- Rouse Hill Town Centre – Santa is once again doing photos in his gorgeous house. There are also pet Santa sessions too.
- North Rocks Shopping Centre – North Rocks has a new set up. You can get a digital copy of your photo, no hard copy.
