Arden students enjoy coming to school! The School is a vibrant, warm, and welcoming Christian, co-educational environment for students from Pre-School to Year 12.
Founded in 1922, Arden was named after a forest, a community of trees that flourish and are fruitful. Similarly, Arden is a connected community where every day-and every member of the community – matters. Students, families and staff work together alongside each other to encourage students to become the best they can be.
It is understood that if a child is to retain their inborn sense of wonder there needs to be a focus on the co-development of a growth mindset and the joy of learning. Centred on the Christian faith and finding joy in God, students are provided with the skills to build an understanding of self, develop relationship skills, learn how to make responsible decisions, and hone their social awareness. They are also encouraged to embrace the joy and adventure of learning. Arden is a school where growth meets joy.
The Arden Values of Courage, Compassion, Hope, Love, Respect and Service are actively taught and interwoven in the School’s academic and pastoral programmes. Arden is centred around the Christian faith, and the school strives to model the care and servant-hearted attitude of Christ.
Arden has a vibrant Co-curricular Program providing students with the opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities beyond the academic curriculum. The program is a vital and complementary component of learning at Arden and students are actively encouraged to partake and discover something they are passionate about to foster personal development, learning and innovation. The offering is so diverse, there’s bound to be something for every one.
As there is no substitute for visiting a school and walking around the campus on a ‘normal’ school day, Arden encourages parents to make the time to attend its Open Day or a Campus Tour. Experience the ‘Spirit of Arden’ and take the opportunity to see classes in action, engage with staff and ask questions of students.
